This client reached out to me because they needed help redecorating their formal living room / dining room area. She knows what she likes, but needed some help editing her existing pieces, and advice on how to combine her style and her husband’s style to make a functional, yet cohesive space. Their family likes to entertain, so we wanted to create a seating area was inviting to their guests, and functional for drinks and conversation. Since we weren’t sure what style we wanted to go with, I asked her to look through my Pinterest board and tell me which ones stood out to her, good and bad. From there, I created some idea boards.
For the final design, we did a combination of both designs.
